Many of the people in our Community Inclusion programs have developed close friendships over the years. For the past year, those relationships were disrupted by the pandemic. At Compass, we worked hard to keep people connected through remote services, like online classes. However, some things are just more fun in person, like a game of basketball, bowling, and Zumba.
Last month, Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington County moved from High to Moderate risk level. This has allowed us to safely bring the people we support back together in very small groups. This week, long-time friends, Bill and Billie got the chance to see each other for the first time in a year. They enjoyed playing basketball in the park and a trip to the mall.
