HELPING CLIENTS WORRY LESS SO THEY CAN DO MORE OF THE THINGS THEY LOVE
David has been through a lot in his life. In addition to a history of homelessness, including living in a tree-house for a time, he also lost the use of his right leg a few years ago. Despite these setbacks, he still has an infectious laugh and has always maintained a positive attitude towards life.
With Compass assistance, he was able to obtain an apartment through a voucher program in Thurston County. Now that David is in a stable location, he’s able to spend less time trying to survive and more time doing the things he loves, such as working on his cars, collecting automobile memorabilia, and spending time with friends and family.
“I’m thankful for Compass and what they’ve been able to do to help me out,” David says. He makes a special note that the truck he used to call home is now safely parked outside his apartment, in its own parking space
