Succeeding Against all odds

Jackson was living in a garage when he was referred to Compass for help with housing and employment. The Compass team worked to find a stable apartment unit for Jackson to call home. Jackson had multiple housing barriers such as chronic homelessness and prior court involvement, and was penniless due to exploitation on the street. With the help of community resources like SNAP and utility subsidies, Compass connected Jackson to an apartment he now calls his own.

Jackson is happy to have a safe and stable place to sleep. Now that he has housing, Jackson will be starting his new job at Salvation Army in mid-November. Jackson's future is finally beginning to turn around, and Compass will continue to help Jackson step forward with self-sufficiency and direction in this next chapter.
