I’ve been disabled for over 8 years now and have spent most of that time in Adult Family Homes. Before that, I had developed some bad habits which led to making some serious mistakes in my past but I am so happy to have a chance at a new start!
 

Because of my history, it was probably really hard for Compass to find me an apartment, but somehow they did it—and made it look easy, too! They helped me complete my voucher paperwork, talked to apartment managers, and submit applications. They are just really nice people and easy to work with.

Compass has given me the ability to start my life over again. Now that I have my own place, I’m able to start thinking about my future again. I want to start my own landscaping business, and just start living my life. I spent my youth robbing banks and causing trouble, but now I’m starting over again and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without help from Theresa and Joe from Compass.
