Andrew was unemployed and he had faced a lot of challenges finding work. Part of the problem was that he didn’t feel confident about his skills in submitting his resume and landing a job. He was at one of Compass Career Solutions partner agencies when he saw a flyer about our Employment Services. Andrew says, "Sometimes the hardest thing to do is the smartest thing to do, like asking for help." 

 

With that in mind, he called Compass, signed up for services and started meeting with his job coach, Adalis. She helped Andrew with his resume and the job search process. In spite of some challenges Andrew never gave up and Adalis says, "Andrew has always been positive, open to asking me questions, and continuously vocal about his goals." 

 

As a result, he found a job that he is very happy with and loves working for the company. He has even gotten a promotion to a full-time position! Andrew says, "Nothing will change your life, like a job that you love."
