Hello, I am Kodi. I was referred from DSHS to the Community Job Program about seven years ago. I completed my intake assessment with Silvie from Compass Career Solutions; he assisted me in my Individual Development Plan along with a referral to the Life Skills workshop facilitated by Compass.

 

This workshop, along with my experience in the community jobs program, helped me make progress in my life so I could find a full-time job and complete the confidential challenges I had. I was invited back by Silvie to speak at the Life Skills workshop, and to this day I run into people that tell me that my story helped them. I never thought I would hear that from people. I am thrilled to be moving out of state to continue my journey of raising my son, being self-sufficient, and being an inspiration for others.
